How To Switch To A Instagram Business Account

On Instagram, you can switch from a personal profile to a business account to gain better insights on who is engaging with your business.

Here’s how you can switch to a business Instagram account.

Step #1: Go to your Instagram profile and tap the 3 lines in the upper corner (also know as the hamburger).

Step #2: Now tap the gear icon to get to your settings.

Step #3: Once you’re in the settings scroll down to “Account” and select it.

Step #4: Now that you’re in the account scroll down to find the “Switch to Professional Account” option.

Step #5: Now tap it and wait for the screen to prompt you.

Step #6: Hit “Continue” and select the appropriate category for your business.

Step #7: Instagram will let you know that in order to have a professional account your profile needs to be public. Accept the terms and conditions then you’re ready to go! Instagram will also ask for your contact details but you can skip this step if you’d prefer.
